About Us Jamie & Laurel Iverson strive to make Art in the Village an exciting and unique place to browse and shop. Located on Main Street in New London, Art in the Village is among many delightful stores that make the town a popular shopping destination. Laurel & Jamie are both artists themselves, each with a background in Graphic Design. This experience allows them to provide expert advice and assistance with both jewelry making and custom framing. Art in the Village LLC. (which was originally named Village Arts) was purchased in October of 2002. In November of 2003, Art in the Village moved to a new location on the other side of Main Street in the former Mill Pond Mercantile building. It was a positive move that offered more space for the art gallery and the frame workshop.
2004 also brought the addition of on-line sales on the Art in the Village website. The Art in the Village On-line Store features many of the beading & jewelry supplies found in the retail store and also provides a worldwide outlet for select area artists. The On-line Store has been well received and has attracted customers from throughout the US. Jamie & Laurel continue to expand the beading and jewelry department, as well as the website. Laurel's jewelry has been selling well at Art in the Village and select other locations. Jamie continues to create his popular aviation artwork. His works are available on-line at Stormbirdsannex.com. Other works by Jamie can be viewed on www.jamieiverson.com.

2004, Laurel and Jamie added a section of Beading and Jewelry supplies.
Since then, the beads and jewelry supply has grown to include a wide selection
of quality Gemstone beads, Swarovski crystal beads, Delica Seed beads,
Pewter Charms, Precious Metal findings & tools and and much more.
